The only Ozone Weather Meters free from outside air influence enable pursuit of accuracy. This instrument performs accelerated ozone degradation testing for organic materials such as rubber, plastic, resin, textile, fabrics used in automobiles, electronic materials, and printed matters as well. The fully closed system allows for true ozone concentration tests. Applicable to ISO 1431-1, ISO 1431-3, JIS K 6259-1, JIS K 6259-2, ISO 18941, JEITA CP-3901B, standards and others.

Originally developed filter system (No.1 Filter / No.2 Filter)
The ozone weather meter introduces the ambient air, generates ozone by an ozone lamp or silent discharge, and continues to send it to the chamber. The uniquely developed No. 1 filter shuts off the polluted gas around the Ozone Weather Meter to introduce clean air, and also shuts off the gas generated from the test specimen and discharges it from the chamber. In addition, the No. 2 filter is built into the automatic ozone concentration controller (OMR-5C type) to establish true ozone concentration measurement that is not affected by ambient air and gas generated from test specimen.

OMS-L series : established an ozone lamp that strictly controls the ozone generation wavelength of 185 nm.
OMS-H series : a uniquely designed high-concentration ozone generator (silent discharge method)
Ozone concentration measurement and automatic adjustment (OMR-5C type)
Adopted the ultraviolet absorption method (compliant with ISO 1431-3), which measures the ozone concentration by utilizing the property that light with an ultraviolet wavelength of 253.7 nm is absorbed by ozone. The mercury lamp for measurement that emits 253.7 nm measures the spectral composition of all products and confirms its intensity.
Capable of both rotational static and dynamic testing.
In the static test, the extension holder is attached to the rotating specimen rack and rotated while applying a certain amount of extension. In the dynamic test, the specimen rack moves up and down, and the test specimen is rotated while repeating vertical tension. The stroke distance can also be changed.

Ozone deterioration test at low temperature.
Moisture freezing, deicing, ozone, strain, etc. are considered to be the causes of rubber cracks in cold regions. OMS-LNZ is capable of ozone deterioration tests at negative temperatures.

Ozone deterioration test under high humidity.
OMS-LNZ enables ozone deterioration tests under a wide range of humidity conditions. Under high humidity, the flowmeter and each pipe may become clogged with condensed water, causing problems. This problem has been solved by developing a TM type dehumidifier (PAT.).
Ozone Weather Meter OMS-P

Ozone degradation test for digital print images.
OMS-P is capable to control both temperature and humidity and tests the ozone resistance of digitally printed images. The NOx removal device, which has a special filter for NOx treatment in a completely sealed circulation air passage, keeps the NO₂ concentration in the tank to less than 10 ppb when the ozone test concentration is 5 ppm (PAT.).
