High Superior Surface Probe with 360 degree flexible head

Contact Support function with range of ±4 degrees added to our most accurate model S series.

The flexible head allows the temperature sensing part to follow and to contact closely to the object to be measured and it gives you the most accurate measurement more easily.

Flexible customise is also available for each customer's specific application.

One of the most important things for accurate measurement is that a thermocouple contacts perpendicularly (90°) to the surface to be measured, but most people cannot do this easily - sometimes not even a robot can. However, SX series allows everyone to have the same, accurate and trusted results.

The 360° flexible head provides you more accurate and faster measurement as the thermocouple (sensor part) closely-contacts and follows objects to be measured very well.

Response Time

The short response time is also one of the features of the SX series.

63.2% in the table represents the time constant defined as the time to reach 63.2% of the temperature change Δt of the object to be measureed.

Durability

Another characteristic of the SX series is its durability.

Evaluation of the durability of a temperature sensor probe is very difficult because it depends on measurement conditions and environment.

As for SX series, the durability is defined on the condition that its contact time is less than 5 seconds at the maximum temperature during the measurement.

  • On the metalic surface at 300 C deg : At least 100,000 contacts
  • On the metalic surface at 800 C deg : At least 60,000 contacts
